Six Sentence Sunday: Unapologetic

Welcome back, Sixers! Many thanks to those of you who read and/or commented on my Six Sentence Sunday post last week. I appreciate your feedback.

Returning to the early chapters of Girl Under Glass, in this scene, Ehtishem has overheard Rachel calling him an idiot when she thought he was asleep. ----- I turned expecting to see accusation in the Stranger’s eyes. Instead I thought I saw a hint of glee tighten the corners before neutrality smoothed his features. I gathered the dirty towels and stood. “My mother had a saying for people who went into dangerous places unprepared.”

“Oh?”

“A fool and his flesh are soon parted.” -----

Please take the time to read and comment on as many of the other Six Sentence Sunday posts as possible. Loads of great writing to be had for free!
